We welcome kayakers of all shapes and sizes, from beginners to advanced levels. As long as you can swim and are at least 6 years of age, we encourage you to come join the fun!
No previous kayak experience is necessary for our kayak tours in La Jolla. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult in a double kayak. We use stable “sit-on-top” ocean kayaks that are fun and easy to use.
All of our San Diego kayak tours include the kayak, life jacket, paddle, helmet, and of course one of our delightful, certified kayakingtour guides. All of our kayak tour guides are experiencedwatermen/women, as well as CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid certified. All of our tour guides undergo extensive safety training, and are experienced kayakers with expertise specific to the La Jolla Ecological Reserve and the La Jolla Sea Caves. All of our kayak tour guides and also are certified through the British Canoe Union.
