We offer a snorkeling package for all to enjoy. No experience is necissary; however, you do obviously have to know how to swim. You don’t have to be n the best shape, but you need to be ready to swim a bit, with an open mind about the fantastic underwater world that you’ll discover with us. You can take a guided snorkeling tour with us, or just rent the snorkeling equipment, and explore the La Jolla Cove on your own. Snorkel in front of the Marine Room, where tour participants will strap on snorkel gear and swim with these amazing leopard sharks. The leopard sharks are totally harmless and are bottom-feeders, so they stay on the ocean floor. While snorkeling, participants might also see some of the Shovelnose Guitarfish.
The snorkeling tour includes all of your gear, and you get to keep it the rest of the day too. The La Jolla cove is one of the best locations to snorkel along California period. The water is very calm and suitable for children and beginners. The undersea life is abundant because it belongs to and Ecologic Reserve here in La Jolla. If you want to learn how to snorkel and take advantage of what you have been missing until now, we recommend our snorkeling tour for the adventuress souls waiting to come out. Snorkel gear rentals and tours are available 7 days a week. Fun for all ages, and no experience is necessary for this tour. The tour is only an additional $10 for the hour of instruction. We offer snorkel rentals to experienced snorkelers. You can rent one of our stable sit-on-top kayaks for 2 hours and add the snorkel gear for an extra $20. Snorkel exuipment is available Separately as well. The mask & snorkel is $7, fins are $7 seperatlely, and the wetsuits are $10.
