San Diego skyline waterfront downtownSan Diego is home to an array of different communities and areas of interest along our coastline as you tour along the City sites.  Although the embarcadero is only a short distance metrically, there is a lot to see in just one short mile stretch along its port side. The embarcadero is like San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Warf, but with a Spanish flare, minus the fish smell of course.  The area includes the San Diego Convention Center, Sea Port Village, and the Marina Park, home to many great events such as October Fest, Symphony of Summer Pops, San Diego Restaurant Festival, and numerous other concerts and musical extravaganzas.

The embarcadero is home to a lot of San Diego’s historic landmarks and points of interest not only for our visitors but our locals as well.  In just a short walk you can pass by the famous historic sites like The Maritime museum and The USS Midway, or you can visit Anthony’s Famous Sea Food Restaurant for some great fish and chips.  There is some heavy foot traffic during the Summer Months and weekends, so be aware if you need to find parking, bring your walking shoes.

san Diego PelicanThe Cruise Line terminal sits in the middle of the embarcadero in between the Maritime and the Midway.  This is a perfect spot for visitors to first see as they step off their Cruise Ship and experience a great first impression of San Diego’s Embarcadero.  There are many things to do in San Diego, one of the most accessible would be a harbor cruise across the San Diego Harbor to Coronado Island.

Harbor Excursion has a Ferry that can transport you, or your bike across to the Ferry Landing on the famous Coronado Island.  We defiantly recommend this activity to our visitors on your own, or to enjoy at the finale of our Coronado Bike Tour.

The port side of Downtown San Diego is beautiful at sunset.  We offer a Bike Tour of Downtown at the end of the day just before sunset.  This gives convention visitors, and others the opportunity to still enjoy the outdoors of San Diego after a hard day of work, and mingling.  This is a spectacular way to take a little bit of San Diego home with you after your trip.  San Diego is synonymous Sunset.  If there is only one thing that you get to do while you are here, it’s to sit back and just enjoy the sunset, with a cup of coffee, a loved one, or maybe just your tour guide!
